Well things must’ve changed since all of these bad reviews. My breakfast sandwich was absolutely fantastic. The service was pleasant and efficient which is extremely appreciated. I will be flying through this airport a lot in the coming months and years so I’m excited to be able to grab a delicious sandwich here on the go!

Might be the worst service I've ever experienced at an airport bar. Wish I'd read the reviews before trying to get a drink. 6 staffers. 2 customers seated at the bar who already had drinks. I sat and sat and sat.... Finally walked over to the other end of the bar (to the cafe), ordered my beer and carried it back to the other end of the bar. Nobody even acknowledged my existence.... Other than ringing in my beer when I walked to the other end. More concerned about 'Kevin' (an airport employee I assume) and the coffee he ordered. Literally no other customers at the bar or the cafe or the chocolate store. Highly recommend waiting to get on the plane. No tip.

The women that work here must be miserable. Some of the most rude and unfriendly individuals I have met and I travel weekly for work to all parts of the country. Unfortunately it’s the ONLY place to purchase anything within the airport.

Others have posted about the staff. Others have posted about the food. This place is simply sub-par in every possible ranking. ...But they're the only game in town. Bon apetit. Edit: it's a restaurant with BARF in the name. Do with that information what you will.

Don’t eat here! I wish I’d read the reviews first. Unsanitary, cross contamination happening all the time. I suggest you watch them cook, don’t get distracted by what’s on the grill. Keep watching. .. Sweeping the discarded lettuce and bloody patty sheets from the cutting board with a knife. The guy sitting next to me found the twist tie to the bread bag in his lettuce. All kinds of nasty stuff going on..????

I eat there every time I go through the South Bend Airport. I highly recommend the Chicken Wing Sashimi. It’s just like pulling a chicken wing off of a chicken in the barnyard and putting it straight in your mouth.

Been here so many times and it is consistently good with really great service. Staff is always friendly and attentive and the drinks are so good! That tiramisu was *chefs kiss* incredible, light, not too sweet, just SO good. Highly recommend!

Very cool place especially for a date. I think everyone around us were on a date. They have a modern chick vibe and have a long list of drinks. We had some Virgin cocktails and they were amazing! We loved them. Food was really unique, well made and special. Tuna buns were phenomenal! I don't eat pork so having buns with tuna was so great. Duck leg was amazing as well, was well made and really perfect. Ramen was pretty sophisticated and again loved it. Tuna tartare was pretty good as well. We also ordered bread that never arrived. But we got a bill with it. We asked them to remove since we never got the bread, they had no issue, but I would expect service would be better. They wouldn't bring utensils on time, would forget things, and we would have dirty dishes stay on the table for a long time before someone would remove them. So service wasn't the best. Everything else was pretty good.

Stopped in for a few late night drinks and appetizers. I love the ambiance of Fly Bar. We sat in the bar area which is such a nice vibe. The old fashioned was made to perfection. Our favorite appetizer was the Nachos and Original Crab Cake. Cheers!

I knew Fly Bar had moved from downtown Tampa, but I hadn't realized that the new location was just across the street from University of Tampa. I have to say that I absolutely loved everything about my experience here. There is a nice long bar with seats on both side, plenty of tables, and outside seating as well. The atmosphere was cool and casual, and unlike the old location, it was not cramped or too loud. I met a friend for happy hour prior to a book signing nearby. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was extremely friendly and efficient. Happy hour runs from 4pm-6pm and they offer excellent happy hour deals, which include both food and beverages. I started with their version of a gin and tonic, which added Lillet Rose and hibiscus tea to it. Very tasty and refreshing. For my snack I had the house smoked salmon spread, which was served with pickled cucumbers on top and came accompanied with crostini. This was outstanding. The salmon combined with dill was smooth and delicious, and I loved that there were enough crackers provided for the whole generous portion. I would definitely get this again. I closed out with the classic Pimm's Cup, which again, was perfect. I've already notified my friends that this is now our new happy hour joint, and I can't wait to meet them all there.
